On today’s show, Dr Oz was joined by Dr. Mark Hyman, Maryland, to discuss whether food items allergies could be the offender as to why you are not slimming down. Dr. Hyman continued, stating that you may be packing about the pounds because of allergic reactions to the foods consume, and in order to start out losing weight, you should get rid of these foods.

Dr Oz stated that the #1 complaint he learns in his office is that his patients sasy that will they’re doing everything suitable but just can’t seem to excess weight, so the myth Dr Oz looked into on today’s show: You’re to blame for your weight gain.

It is most definitely a fantasy.

(Unless of course you just had a whole pizza and a bucket involving cheese fries, however technically, wouldn’t the chicken wings and the fries become to blame?)

Anyway, Dr .. Hyman explained that food allergic reaction caused inflammation in which eventually drives the actual vicious cycle of weight gain and could lead to morbid obesity. He told Doctor Oz that you can get up to 30 pounds per year due to allergic reaction to dairy. (It is a shame I’m not allergic to dairy, cuz in which sounds like a good reason for me!) When people think of currently being allergic to food, they tend to think of intense allergies (peanuts.) This sort of allergy affects only 2-5 percent of the inhabitants. What you may not know is that 60 percent in the population is allergic for you to dairy, which causes gradual weight gain.

You might be allergic to the key sources of dairy, for instance milk and parmesan cheese and other obvious dairy products, but did you know there may be dairy contained in other foods, such as treats, cakes, cookies, and chocolate? These products consist of whey.

Meat in addition to fish:

-when meat is definitely processed, flavor pills containing dairy are being used. (canned tuna) Alternatively, try kosher meats.

Bread:

-bread boasts a lot of milk dust and whey. To be sure it does not contain dairy products, read the label or ask your baker.

-These products may contain whey protein. Read the label on the product.

Dr. Hyman explained that he’s had individuals who have had dairy allergic reactions and when they got reduce the dairy, that they had actually lost weight. They also got rid of other issues such as joint pain, fatigue, congestion and irritable bowels. These complaints are linked to food items allergies.
